This 16-week hybrid program is your gateway into the world of truthful, moment-to-moment acting. Designed for actors of all levels, the training offers a structured and supportive environment to explore the foundational principles of the Meisner Technique – with the flexibility of working from home and the depth of meeting in person. Through weekly live Zoom sessions (2 hours), you’ll engage in practical exercises that build your ability to listen, respond truthfully, and connect authentically. The training focuses on core elements such as Repetition, emotional preparation, improvisation, and introductory scene work. Each session is crafted to deepen your awareness, sharpen your instincts, and strengthen your presence as an actor. To support your growth, you’ll receive guided exercises between sessions to integrate the work into your daily practice. In addition to the online component, the program includes 4 in-person training days (once a month), allowing you to apply Meisner’s principles in a physical space, explore deeper partner work, and build real-world ensemble connection. At the end of the program, every participant will complete a professionally recorded showreel scene or monologue, giving you a tangible result of your growth and a valuable tool for your acting career. Whether you're beginning your acting journey or returning to the craft with fresh eyes, this training will help you build a solid foundation rooted in truth, presence, and emotional availability. No prior experience with the Meisner Technique is required – only curiosity, openness, and a willingness to explore. General Booking Policy – Meisner Institute Switzerland Registration & Payment All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment details and deadlines are provided during the registration process. Cancellation & Refunds Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. Up to 30 days before the start date: Full refund minus a CHF 25 administrative fee 15–29 days before: 50% refund Less than 15 days before: No refund available If a program or workshop is cancelled by the Meisner Institute Switzerland, participants will receive a full refund. Participation Requirements Programs are open to actors of all experience levels unless otherwise specified. Sessions may be held in English or German depending on the format. Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and engage respectfully with instructors and peers. Code of Conduct We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment. Discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the program without refund. Media & Documentation Photos or video may be taken during workshops and events for documentation and promotional purposes. By registering, you agree to the use of such material unless you notify us in writing prior to the start of the program. Liability The Meisner Institute Switzerland is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during participation.
